Google allows you to put a max of 3 ads on your website which isn't bad at all. If you have quality content, google will find those special keywords on your website and when you paste the code on your site, you will then have a better chance of getting clicks. It's all fairly quite simple, but getting traffic is another thing. If you don't get quality traffic to your website, it will get frustrating because you won't see any clicks.
